An example of the magic of implementing something that lacks eloquence and the strength to speak directly – and there is my clash with the magnificent heroine of my most beloved game – Lady Nohime.

Unimaginably beautiful, passionate heroine with a colorful and endless range of emotions, absolute charm and fortitude. A strong woman who played a huge role in the history of Japan, being a reliable and faithful support of her great husband and wise lord – Oda Nobunaga.

Under the auspices of the Oda clan, she made history side by side with the most famous warriors, feudal lords, strategists. Powerful and gentle, seductive and insidious – a magnificent combination of beauty and mind – Lady Nohime.

Oda Nobunaga – One of the most ambiguous figures in the history of Japan, he is considered the greatest commander by some, others consider him a tyrant who went to his goal no matter what. And yet the brutal heart of the feudal lord flinched under the awe of the wings of a fragile butterfly, hiding true serpent habits in itself, to rise to the imperious Demon Lord of the Sixth Sky.

START OF FABRICATION

For basic forms of armor, it was decided to use Eve foam due to the flexibility in thermoforming. But Eve herself is not a very convenient material in high-quality painting and refinement, so we decided to use elastic PU coatings to maintain mobility and wear resistance, as well as elasticity.

The armor itself and the patterns on them, we decided to metallize, which would most emphasize their realism. To do this, we will need a lot of time when preparing the surface, so the article will be supplemented.

Step # 1 – Preparation of Drawing

We take off the necessary forms (my body is ready) basic patterns. With the help of scotch, foil, we form a relief, and with a marker we apply the product pattern we need.

Step # 2 – Transfer Drawing to Work Surface

Step 3 – Transfer the drawing to the finishing material (eva foam)

In the process of transferring, we form all parts from master models to the desired products. Then glue all the parts and get the finished product… so close

Step 4 – Application of elastic compositions on the surface of parts (Primer (ಠ╭╮ಠ))

For this step, we will need: a compressor and a paint cluster, as well as a special PU composition for a spill. We apply at least 8 layers of complete surface cover (1 layer with an interval of 20 minutes).

For the fabric part, light cotton satin was chosen, since it was this color that was close to the canon.

To make a padded half-skirt, black and red fabric was needed. I needed to measure its length and draw a layout in order to cut the skirt evenly, observing the pattern. We use a spider – a special textile glue-strip, so as not to sew the edges. put two parts of the skirt together, sew them, and then attach the belt, which will then hide under the armor.

For the pattern on the fabric, a stencil should be made. Personally, I redrawn it with tracing paper from the XD monitor screen. But I still had to adjust it to the size of the skirt…

I used a special paint for the fabrics in the drawing. Let him dry the night and apply a thin layer again.

To make a banter, you will need red cloth, rope (which you will need to spit), glue doublerin (coat) (on the lower banter and on the lower part of the upper) and edge (upper part of the upper banter)

We make two pieces of the future XD banter. Outwardly, they will look like pads) Glue doublerin from the inside (edge on the upper part of the banter, on the lower and second coat banter in order to give the banter a tougher shape. Earrings are made easier ~

We buy 2 muline threads per earring. We put together, we achieve the right size. Then there’s the painting. Nohime clearly has a gradient on his earrings. To do this, we will need red, purple and dark purple paints. Carefully wet the necessary areas of the future earring with a sponge, achieving a smooth transition. You know, since the first news about the exit of the new part of the Cold Heart, my soul has been eager to connect its way with one of the heroines I loved there. You thought correctly if the elegant and fragile image of the lord of cold and ice, Queen Elsa, has now surfaced before your eyes. Since Disney is so zealously trying to attribute her to the society of princesses of their magic kingdom, not paying attention to the title that our charming wizard receives in the first cartoon… my heart is divided into two parts. One of them has been owned by the lord of endless deserts – Princess Jasmine for how many years, and the second now in the ice of the ice queen – Elsa.

However, my story will go exactly about how I created the costume of Elsa, inspired by the wonderful art of the artist… especially for the Lost Ark competition…

The fact that I will take part in this competition – I knew right away. For she also played the game on the Korean server and managed to participate in all activities already on the poo. Well, I, as a fan of the MMORPG genre for a very long time, lacked something that could stick me to the screen for a couple of hours and at the same time not get tired.

Why exactly in the nomination Korean COSPLAY? It’s simple. At this point, I really wanted to finish my Naotora armor and two new Cold Heart 2 suits. Well, between gluing 7,000 rhinestones on Elsa’s dress and painting Anna’s costume, I decided that I could (sacrificing sleep and a large budget) bring to life one of the most long-awaited projects for me. Well, to present your creation in all its glory at the Gambler 2019… it happened

So let’s look at the rules of the competition and actually… what did they want from us?

“Want to try on the image of the brave hero of the world LOST ARK and win a cash prize? Every member of our community has this opportunity. We invite everyone to take part in the cosplay competition! ”

Well, then nominations, etc., were presented. Of course, nothing becomes clearer from the same name “Korean Traditional Cosplay.” Clarifying in the group from the administrators, I get this answer: “Faith, about the Korean traditional cosplay the answer is higher, but I will supplement it. In this nomination, you need to create, accordingly, an image in the Korean traditional blanket. An example is Hanbok. The image that you want to take as a basis – at your discretion ”

Well, what is cosplay?

Cosplay – is a transformation into various roles, consisting in dressing in costumes and playing off character, body plastics and facial expressions of characters in computer games, cinema, literature, comics, anime and manga. As a rule, this hobby includes the manufacture of a costume and elements of the attributes of the selected character. It has some connection with the role movement (the difference is that the cosplay does not imply the development of the plot and character of the character, but concentrates on the characteristic features described in the source), as well as with historical reconstruction (requires a detailed reconstruction of the historical prototype).

The image chosen for cosplay can be taken from any source or invented by the author of cosplay as an original idea or as a synthesis of various famous characters and styles (for example, a version of a famous character in the steampunk style).

The last point just applies to my Elsa. And this means that we were asked to think through the image and present it in the “Korean style.” The author of the art, on the basis of which I made cosplay, from South Korea and his style is directly related to the vestment of various characters of different universes in the traditional clothes of his people.

Well, let’s start…

I did work in different directions. Since the art itself portrayed the character only on one side and only half its height, much turned out to be thought of by itself. The most difficult of the sewing part, I consider the banter on the back. We’ll start with him.

The two-layer banter, together with plume-shaped ribbons, occupies approximately 3 meters in length. In order to apply patterns, I prepared special stencils. Each of the 300 pearls and 100 crystals is sewn and glued into a hand. The number of patterns exceeds 500 uses of stencil (because of which it had to be redone many times). I painted everything at home, because I was afraid not to have time. Here came the first calls about chem poisoning… but there was a plume ahead. The banter is also decorated with a ribbon depicting cranes and bamboo with gold metal patterns at the tips and snowflakes cast from transparent polyurethane. At the ends of the banter and in the middle are also snowflake jewelry.

Then there was a cape with a plume. The basis was the shape of the Elsa plume from the first part. The plume itself is about 2.5 meters long. All patterns are hand-painted and decorated with crystals and poured snowflakes. In front, they are also decorated with pendants made of tidal snowflakes. During the painting of this plume, I received chem. poisoning and spent about 5 cylinders of white paint. At first, a white bleach was applied along the border, there were already patterns of snowflakes and stars on it, after which everything was decorated with crystals. It took about 10 hours of total time to paint in order to create a feeling of a snowy plume.

The lower dress was made in accordance with the drawing. Sewn from two different types of fabric, decorated by hand with white patterns and crystals. Also, a belt was sewn separately, on which jewelry (3d printing) and knots (handmade) were attached after.

Wig and Decorations on your head. Since the option on the art was not nice to me, I personally decided to make something more interesting to me. This something was a clip with roses and winter berries, decorated with poured snowflakes, crystals and a suspension with snowflakes. The glove was also decorated with a snowflake with a crystal. Fox collar. Yeah, it was made by hand, too. Under the guidance of the wonderful master – Gin – the sweet head of the fox was born, which was then sewn to the collar. Tails were made separately, after which they were sewn to the main “sausage” and decorated with scarlet cords. The base of the head was cut out of polystyrene foam, then wrapped around a thief. After the fur was glued, but before that it had to be cheered up a little, because it turned out to be very long. After fur, it was otfacturen, after which cilia were injected and crystals were glued. Decoration on the ear as an addition.

Make-up, studio selection and photo processing

Make, I completely did myself. The main difference from the original Elsa was the bright “scarlet” shadows. This color looked very beautiful with sky blue eyes. Also, I inflicted a lot of brilliance, highlighted the “frozen” pink cheeks.

And the other day two big holidays, namely the 15th anniversary of two large franchises, known for the whole World, were warmed off! What do Winx and Samurai Warriors have in common? How do they differ? How did I become a fan of these two worlds, which at first glance are absolutely unlike? Want answers?

The Winx fairy universe opened to me at the age of 6-7 years. I remember the first time I encountered the heroines of the club in a color magazine presented to me by Mom during a trip to Ryazan) On a pink cover there were five beautiful characters whose bodies were wrapped in sparkling magic streams… then I first met Bloom – my favorite fairy of the Winx club. According to all forecasts, it was Flora who was supposed to become my favorite… well… pink, romantic and tender character, but… I don’t know what, but something connected me for life precisely with the Dragon Fire Wizard (perhaps the answer lies precisely in Bloom’s leadership qualities and magic features). Then I began to ask Mom to paint red, envied Dad that he had a birthday on the same day as the red-haired fairy… in general, so began my story of friendship with magic. As a child, it was important for me not to miss a single series of the series! Everything was amazing! Excellent oppening, then still an interesting and unique plot, beautiful heroines and, of course, fairy magic. My friends and I came up with our own characters for a long time, wrote stories, painted arts with all the collections of Winx clothes, starting with the usual transformation, ending with side costumes dedicated to individual series or holidays. With the release of the second season, Pixie babies were created – their character, abilities and history were prescribed by us no less than the character-owner himself. With season 3 – pollen, with season 4 – pet Love & Pet… and so on…

Oichi Del Elion – Fairy Qi

If you suddenly look into the albums of the group, you can find two albums, one of which is called “Oichi.” Exactly, the image of Oichi, as we have it now, appeared inside the Winx fendom. Briefly speaking, the plot of the story of Oichi laid the foundation for the writing of the book. Inside the Winx fandom, Lady Oichi Del Elion was endowed with the Magic of Qi – the energy of life with which to manage death and life. And in the design of Oichi we notice… CHINESE AND JAPANESE DESIGNS. Even then, love for the Samuraev franchise took possession of me, but about it a little later… Nevertheless, it is worth saying that this story about girl wizards has given faith in magic to no generation.

The project has a huge number of haters, but mostly these are just those people who did not even try to watch the Winx Club. The introduction to the Samurai Warriors franchise occurred during my 5th grade training. A toy with a beautiful picture on the cover was presented to me by the Pope in honor of a good end to the academic semester. Then I had only Wii. As soon as I started this game… I fell in love. The beautiful design of only accessible characters, among which was OITI itself, simply could not but please the eye of a little girl. Then all kinds of additions to Sanadamaru and Extreme Legends appeared in the collection. In SW4, the design of Oichi upset me a lot… in terms of hairstyle. The beautiful suit did not get involved with such a haircut in any way, so Oichi’s cosplay did not reach the SW4, and it was too late for SW3… but never say never! Thanks to this series of games, I just began to devour historical books and art novels that said at least something about the Three Kingdoms or the Sengoku Era.
